Robot Wars

Fan made project based off the TV show Robot Wars.

Use W and S to move back and forwards, Q and E to rotate. Use left mouse button to attack.

This game was made using Unity Game Engine, it was a challenge I set myself to be able to make a game in 7 days. All of the assets you see in the game have been designed by me, I have also added in 4 of the House Robots from the show to try and make this game seem as authentic as possible to the show.

Each battle will last a total of 5 minutes, points are awarded for attacking opponent robots and for also destroying a robot. Two of the traps have a random chance of triggering, whilst the flipper and pit trap need the buttons to be pressed to activate them.

You, the player has 8 robots to pick from that you can play as. Each of them has its own strengths and weaknesses.  There are a total of 3 other opponents in each battle, they are picked randomly but there are no duplicate robots in the battles. 

There are still some bugs in the game, none of them however are game breaking when I have tested the game. One game bug is to do with the winner’s/loser’s screen, sometimes this is triggered before the battle start, pressing the restart button will eventually work. There are some bugs with the sound as well. These bugs might be fixed, however due to this being a simple game they will most likely stay as they are.
